Summit Point Counseling offers individual therapy for adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for change. Therapy can help you better understand what you're experiencing, build tools for managing stress and emotions, and move forward with greater clarity.
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and their sense of direction. Many people come to therapy when life begins to feel heavier than it used to, when responsibilities pile up, relationships become complicated, or it becomes hard to find space for yourself.

About Me
Hi, I’m Katelyn.
I’m a Licensed Social Worker with over ten years of experience supporting adults and families through life transitions and challenging situations. My background includes work in adult protective services and clinical case management, where I developed a strong foundation in person-centered care and supporting individuals through complex life changes.
I hold dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Geriatric Psychology, and much of my work has focused on helping older adults and families navigate the emotional and relational changes that come with aging.
Through my own journey into motherhood, I’ve also developed a deep appreciation for the emotional complexity of parenting and the many roles adults hold at once. I find meaningful work supporting mothers, parents, and adults navigating the responsibilities and transitions that come with different stages of life.
In therapy, I take a collaborative and thoughtful approach. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring what you're experiencing and supported as you work toward meaningful change.

What To Expect From Therapy
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Sessions are conversational and collaborative, focused on understanding what you're experiencing and identifying meaningful ways to move forward.
In our work together we may:
• explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships
• develop tools for managing anxiety and stress
• process life transitions and difficult experiences
• clarify values and goals that help guide your next steps
Therapy isn’t about having everything figured out, it’s about creating space to understand yourself more clearly and move forward with greater confidence.
If you're curious about whether therapy might be helpful for you, I offer a free consultation where we can talk about what you're looking for and see if working together feels like a good fit.
