Sessions, Fees & Policies
Sessions & Scheduling
Therapy sessions are offered via secure telehealth to adults located in Colorado. Sessions are typically 50 minutes. After our first session, scheduling is flexible and client-led. You’ll be able to log in to the client portal and book sessions week by week, choosing times that work best for you and your life right now.
Many clients meet weekly or biweekly, though this can change over time. We’ll check in as we go to make sure the pace of therapy continues to feel supportive rather than overwhelming. Session times are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If having a consistent day and time each week feels important to you, we can talk together about whether a standing appointment would be helpful.
Fees & Payment
Summit Point Counseling is a private-pay practice.
This means therapy is guided by your goals and needs, not insurance requirements, diagnoses, or session limits. Many clients appreciate the added flexibility and privacy this model offers.
Session fee: $110 per 50-minute session
Payment is due at the time of service.
If cost feels like something you want to talk through, you’re always welcome to ask during a consultation.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that life happens. I require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee. Each client is offered one courtesy late cancellation or no-show, recognizing that unexpected things come up. After that, late cancellations, reschedules, or missed sessions will be charged in full.
Exceptions may be made in cases of sudden illness or emergency.
Telehealth
All sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You’ll receive clear instructions before your first session, and I’m happy to help troubleshoot if technology feels stressful or unfamiliar.
Clients must be physically located in Colorado at the time of sessions.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Your privacy and trust matter. What you share in therapy is confidential and protected by state and federal law.
There are a few legal limits to confidentiality, including situations involving risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect, or when disclosure is required by law. We’ll review these together during the intake process so there are no surprises.
Clinical Supervision
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) practicing under ongoing clinical supervision, as required by Colorado law. Supervision is a supportive and collaborative process that helps ensure ethical practice, thoughtful care, and continued professional growth.
Next Steps
If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to schedule a free consultation. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can ask questions, share what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for whether this space feels right for you.
